Turning point

I left Capgemini with a big emptiness, but fill up with a tons new stuff, both professional and private. Finally Lea got a position at daycare soon and we hired a babysitter to help us out. I've been doing a lot interesting stuffs beside home duties. Some latest technology I want to share in details soon are the following:

  • Zabbix - better monitoring tools than nagios in graphs
  • AWS - mainly IaaS, you can simply build a new virtual infrastructure without spend a million on HW
  • Akamai - leading CDN in the world
  • Chef - pretty much like puppet, but totally different approach underneath
Other than that I have been test some file level deduplication, erlang studies and web operations. My day is never boring and it will not be any time soon neither.

It is turning point, and I can finally looking forward again. Like Steve Jobs said:
"life is short and not in your control, live it with love, and to your dreams and ideals!"
